Step 1: Open Meta Business Settings

If your business is eligible for verification, you’ll see a Start Verification or Begin Verification button.

Tip: If you don’t see the Security Center, make sure you have full admin access to the Business Portfolio.

Step 2: Start the Verification Process

Click the Start Verification button to begin.

Meta will first ask you to review your business details. Carefully check that your business information is accurate before continuing.

This includes:

Legal business name
Business address
Phone number
Website URL
Business email

Every detail should match your official business documents exactly.

Step 3: Enter Your Legal Business Information

Next, fill in your company’s legal information.

Make sure you enter:

Your registered business name
Complete business address
Business phone number
Official website
Company email address

Avoid using abbreviations, nicknames, or different spellings. Even small differences between your application and official documents may cause verification issues.

Step 4: Upload Your Business Documents

Meta will ask you to upload documents that prove your business is legitimate.

Commonly accepted documents include:

Business Registration Certificate
Government-issued Business License
Tax Registration Certificate
Utility Bill
Business Bank Statement

Before uploading, make sure:

The document is clear and easy to read.
All pages are included.
Nothing is cropped or edited.
The document is current and valid.

Using high-quality PDF files or clear color scans can improve your chances of approval.

Step 5: Verify Your Business Contact Information

Depending on your business and country, Meta may ask you to verify your contact information.

This may include:

Receiving a verification code by email
Receiving a verification code by phone
Verifying your business domain

Enter the verification code exactly as received to complete this step.

Step 6: Submit Your Verification Request

After reviewing all the information, click Submit.

Meta will begin reviewing your application.

The review process usually takes a few business days, although some applications may take longer if additional checks are required.
